A clustered colourful crazy post {and yes, I love alliterations}

While I really love blogging, it turns out to be quite hard for me here. It's just so much going on, that sorting everything and writing about it at the same time is not so easy.
When I write about something, it is in some way processed by me. I closed up with it and can now look back on it. Here, things keep jumping at me, every moment there is something new and moments which are just quiet and uneventful don't happen. But than again, blogging is something I love and I've been doing for so long now, I don't want to give it up.
So. Anyways, today is Tuesday (well yesterday) and Herero Day, which is a public holiday. It is amazing to have a long weekend for the first time since I arrived and get a little distance from school and work. So this is also what my post will be about. A bit randomness of the last weeks ;)

I've done a quiet bit a walking around Windhoek by now but I noticed I don't really have many pictures to show for it (well, it mainly happens before and after work so it doesn't seem so exciting) but I might just share the few I have with you anyway ;) So this is one of the many churches we came by when we were looking for their hours the other day
My EP buddy Susanna who showed us around at our first week
Her and my work colleague posing all nicely for me ;)
Windhoek at night.
The Zoo Garden (the one tree I really find impressive in here)
And I made people pose for me again :D
Then, the other day we went to this amazing coffee shop/restaurant. I wasn't really hungry (though the cakes looked so so so tempting I don't really know how I did it to not order any). But I had this crushed mint lemonade which was huge and really really good! Haha ok I think I made my point clear. You should go there!
Since we have an oven at home now (one which actually works) it was only a matter of time we would end up making pizza. So the other night I did. Love colourful veggies.
The actual pizza turned out so well that I proudly had to document the whole process. Pizza and dinner table. There are also some really embarrassing pictures of us eating the pizza but we will skip those for the sake of our reputation...
Since this is where I spent most of my time, a picture was really needed at this point. School.
At our house, we have a couple of problems with the keys. So recently, it just happened again that I found myself locked out after school. One of my neighbours let me into our compound and so I used the time to do some Yoga.
It was one of my best practises so far! Not being able to rush anywhere, it was amazing to really just be there. The sky wasn't to depressing either...
Another random food shot of the other week. But I loved my plate.
What I also love is the design of our peanut butter!.....random, I know
Since I only got to see our part of the city plus downtown where I work, I asked Susanna last week if she could show me the part where she lives. It was amazing to get to see more of Windhoek (thank you again!!!)
Her sister wanted a selfie together with me. This, was my first attempt. Fail. I still really like the colours though.
A random street shot in between...
And the more successful selfie
Also, more selfies while walking around ;)
This picture now is probably as random as it gets but don't you think this leave looks a lot like human lungs (or maybe it is just me and having watched too many Grey's Anatomy episodes recently....)
Which makes this a really colourful and really random post but you might get an idea of whats going on around here. ;)

What happened recently {in a nutshell}

Hey there! Blogging really isn't something continuous right now, but to my own defence, there have been a lot of major changes recently (and they are still happening) so I guess, that does need some time to digest. However, I thought an update was really necessary and also, with a huge trip coming up soon (which will mean a lot more blogging is going to happen) I might just get back to it already. (breath! I really need to work on my super long sentences. Well, anyways. Hi there ;) )

So let's talk a bit pictures! What happened so far?!
I've been keeping on taking pictures of my food (also...I bought new cushion covers)
I sew this cute bag and took picture of it in my friends grandparents garden

We also, since we obviously didn't go there to take picture of my bag, took a dip in the pool and had an awesome salad!!
I finally came around to make some city trips in Germany with a friend. We started close to my old hometown in Frankfurt....
...went to Heidelberg...

...to Berlin...(where we discovered this beautiful Synagogue)...

(we also stood on the wall)
(and I found the hippest coffee-to-go-carrying-bike ever)
...over to Munich and Augsburg. This was the prettiest and coolest fountain I've seen in a long time.

And this kind of reminded me of Game of Thrones...oh right. We also finished the fourth episode and I found out that one of my younger brothers is watching it too. Who knew?! I'll have a lot to discuss with him from now on ;)
Back in Augsburg I had to catch up with all the news over a lot of coffee and ice cream...
Talking until the sun went down
Also....some mysterious gum artist is wandering around. We found this one in the city and another one at uni...
I changed my room (again) and sew a couple of new cushion covers. Thanks mum again for teaching me how to use a sewing machine all those years ago....and actually gifting me with my own last year ;) ♥
Also, with the upcoming exams....some studying is happening around here....though not really enough. We'll work on it ;)

There were a couple of selfie sessions after long and extended dance evenings
I found my profession as a cat-whisperer :D (he is NOT dead!!!!)
And a friend and I made amazing pao de queijo!!
And talking about Brazilian things, I also purchased my first pair of havaianas!!!!!
This was my this-is-a-fake-cheque-cheque from our grammar-investment-game. Seriously? Grammar games where you get fake cheques at the end are just never going to become lame :D
And just recently, (recently as in on Thursday) I went back to Berlin with a friend....

We found a super cute café....
'Katies Blue Cat'
And had brilliant Indian food!....But mainly: I got my tattoo extension!!!!!!!!! And I couldn't be happier with the location, my artist and the final product! :)
And that is pretty much all what happened recently in a nutshell ;)

The weather has been blasting hot but luckily cooled down a bit over the last two weeks (somehow I really don't like hot hot weather....), my younger brothers both graduated school (how did that happen?!) and I got my confirmation for Africa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So that will be what I'm going to start writing about in about a month!

That's that for now ;) I hope you are all doing well :) Hugs and greetings and you'll hear back from me soon :)

Hello Monday!

Hey there! I'm alive, breathing and keeping on doing things and of course I cook (mainly though to stay alive) and of course(!) I keep taking pictures...though we might still be lacking a lot of that really amazing good called time. Anyone, any tips one where to purchase more of it?
So here we simply go with a couple of small picture updates ;)

My bracelet collection has changed a bit over the last month. But it's growing again. New life chapters, new bracelets!
What our kitchen walls look like...
I made myself a necklace, which I had found on pinterest but which I hadn't the money to buy it. It turned out pretty well. Though to be honest, this picture is probably more about my hair, which looked awesome for once, and my sports-bra/top, which I love
I also made myself another bracelet. Just random
It might make my room a bit 'messier' but I love to put up all those pictures...especially right next to my desk
I attempted a one-woman-pizza yesterday and it was amazing!!! I'll share the recipe soon
I do have a lot of stuff on my walls...constantly changing
My friend and I discovered the probably world-tiniest tic tac box ever. And it had to take a picture. Seriously, who wouldn't have?!
Also, to casually include the weather into this update, we had our first really nice day for weeks!! yay

And that's about it. I just gave myself a wonderful pedicure (do you know that feet used to creep me out. I'm ok with them now) and doing it yourself is just way cheaper (sight). So now, I can happily report my toe nails are a wonderful piggy pink and also that the whole appearance down there is really smooth and nice smelling ;) (is this gross? I'm sorry).
With that I'm leaving to wish you all a good start into the week and I'll get back to studying some more, because really, who doesn't love some late-evening-studies ;)
